Hi K! Luckily for everyone the current state of research and technology indicates that creation of anti-chiral bacteria is still many years in the future. Still, I haven't seen this kind of call to halt research since there was talk in some nations of human cloning and genetic manipulation and some in the AI community wanted everyone to back off on AGI development.

Like the fact that the global mining industry each year produces enough toxic mine tailings to cover an area the size of California?
